Pope Benedict XVI blesses bronze bust of Pope Pius XII

(Catholic Culture) Pope Benedict XVI blessed a bronze bust of his predecessor Venerable Pius XII at his June 2 general audience, according to a German-language Vatican Radio report. Pope Benedict also greeted Sister Margherita Marchione, the 88-year-old American historian and defender of Pius XII's wartime record.
