Cardinal Schonborn is very supportive because his seminaries are full of priests who have received their conversion, vocation, invitation, etc., from Medjugorje.

So what's really going on in Austria (& Belgium)? Next thing is the "visionaries" will say Our Lady would like to see women priests? So much wisdom in Bishop Peter Sartain's words of caution. One wonders also, about the countenance of those claiming to have visions...

Bishop Sartain is absolutely correct in his statement here. Until the Church has ruled, we need to proceed cautiously. This does not mean, therefore, that the visionaries are an open target for unfounded accusations or personal criticism.

This statement by bishop Sartain is welcome indeed. No doubt he will be stepping on a few toes in November when he takes up his new post in Seattle.

A comment above mentioned that there are certain seminaries that are full due to Medjugorje, but what will these seminarians focus on after they are ordained? Will they focus mostly on apparitions and prophecy, rather than the teachings of the Church?
