Exorcist says Satan exists but without 'horns, wings or a tail'

http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/images/ppantoniofortea170910.jpg“On a certain number of occasions, alone at my house or other places, I have felt an evil presence.” He continued. “I would be lying if I did not acknowledge that I felt that evil presence in an intense and powerful way.”

The priest said that during one of these instances, his cat quickly scurried behind the curtains, staring at a particular spot in the room.

“It is not normal for a cat to hide, tremble and stare at a particular point,” he added.

“Although we tend to speak of the demon, in reality there are many demons, each one is different, but there is one who is head over all the demons, the most powerful one: Satan,” the priest continued...

No horns, no tail?

Yeah, I think he's handsome and very charming. He's a blast to hang out with - at least for a while. :O

Pablo the Mexican said...

"sed libera nos a malo..."

Deliver us from the Evil One.

When I was a boy, our Priests taught us in the Our father we were asking not to be overcome by the Devil; a malo, the Evil One.

Jesus was confronted by the Evil One in the desert; not a strange feeling or invisible force.

St. Albert the Great advises on learning about demons: "It is taught by the demons, it teaches about the demons, and it leads to the demons."

When Holy Mother Church teaches Seminarians about the Evil One, the rule does not apply.

By the way, as a young man St. Albert would run away from the Seminary, and the Holy Mother would have angels bring him back.

Albert always considered himself too stupid to be a Priest.

The Holy Mother told him he would be a man of great intellect until three years before his death. He would then go back to being stuck on stupid.

The Holy Mother kept her promise to him.
