Shock at the Vatican - The Vortex With Michael Voris of RealCatholicTV

Hello everyone .. and welcome to the Vortex .. where lies and falsehoods are trapped and exposed .. I’m Michael Voris.

According to press reports .. the Vatican is aghast at the treatment the Pope is receiving and was receiving even prior to his visit.

From calls for his arrest .. to a petition formally filed with the government protesting practically everything you can imagine about the trip to even cried of distress that the British taxpayer is paying for the trip because the Pope is visiting as a head of state.

But what’s more alarming than the shock at the Vatican over the reception is the apparent dream like state that many Catholic leaders are in when it comes to the state of the modern culture.

Revisit the Gospels. Revisit the letters from St. Paul and St. Peter. We are locked in a war for souls with Satan and the powers of Hell. Period. When individuals in the Church are negligent in their duties of teaching and preaching the gospel .. the world heads toward Hell.

Period.

To think anything else is simply naïve. When the Church is weakened by lack of bold
preaching and clear teaching .. souls pay the price in the final end .. but in the
intermediate time .. cultures crumble.

So the answer to the question – why is there SUCH hostility and animosity to the Pope in great Britain is because .. the stage was set 400 years ago when the Catholic bishops of England failed in their duty to confront the menace to the Faith of King Henry.

As a result .. most of the English speaking world is Protestant.

Since Protestantism has no grounding in objective truth .. every social and moral disorder can walk right in .. like contraception .. divorce and re-marriage .. abortion ..

homosexuality .. euthanasia .. stem cell research and take up residence in the culture as the reigning dogma.

When the Pope comes into town preaching the gospel truth .. people who have been
nourished on relativism and horrible catechesis react violently.

Shock should be the last reaction. Unless of course it’s the reaction to the fact that there are ANY faithful Catholics left in the British Isles.

Why does the faithfulness of bishops matter? Look at the reaction to the Pope coming to Britain .. and do the math.

GOD Bless you. I’m Michael Voris.
