I like this.I was on EWTN this evening and they pulled one of his programs andd replaced it with a Lenten Reflections piece. It seems even on EWTN he's guilty until proven innocent
I didn't put the 2 + 2 together; I thought the English meditation was good. They had him on the radio, though, this weekend.
I am a big "fan" of Fr. C, but if I was EWTN's person "making the call" I would pull them too.Regardless of the prudence of this "process" it has to play out the way that it will I think, otherwise there is to much room for error. It is just horrible all around.
I never understand why EWTN does this, they did this also another time with another priest, only that time he actually did admit to wrongdoing. Even if Fr. Corapi did fall, his preaching is true. Why suspend his programs? This is the work of the evil one no matter how you look at it. My prayers are with Fr. Corapi and with all involved. Our priests and seminarians need our urgent prayers. They are being attacked on all fronts, including temptations to which they may fall. God's Mercy is greater than all of this. St. Joseph, terror of demons, pray for us. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us. Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. Keep our faith strong in Your Holy Church.
