  5. I liked when he talked about nature and science. He encouraged me to not get weighed down by the athiest views of the world. God is present all around us in his creation.

  6. Fr. Dubay was a profoundly insightful teacher. He had a great effect on my spiritual life through his books and video on EWTN. Rest in peace, dear brother.

  7. His work on Teresa of Avila is life-changing. "Fire Within" is one of the most important books in my life.
    Rest In Peace, Father.

  8. I'm likely the odd man out here in terms of Father Dubay "favorites", but I myself would like to express my *immense* gratitude -- both to God and to this dear, late worker in His vineyards -- for that small masterpiece (so *very* epistemically and psychologically spot-on) that is FAITH AND CERTITUDE.

Rest in peace, dear Father.... May Our Lord's angels, accompanied by Our Lady, lead you to consolations beyond all telling... And if I may so importune, please pray for all of us *continued* wayfarers: that we will pray for you and for all the faithful departed as we ought.

  9. His Blessed are Your Poor book is transforming my marriage and I his text on faith and doubt is a wonderful teaching text. I grew up watching Fr. Dubay. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed RIP.

  10. I used to get a kick out of Father Dubay on EWTN talks, he would go off on another topic and then say that was for another time.
I suppose he was a typical absent minded professor. But the gist of all his talks was very powerful he will be missed but I am sure will have a wonderful time in Heaven.

  11. May he rest in peace. He was a wonderful retreat master, a simple and very humble priest, and his books and retreats helped shape my spiritual path. I pray he is enjoying the rich reward he so rightly deserves for putting His Lord and Master first in all he said and did, and lived.

  12. I loved this man and really enjoyed watching him on EWTN..It is going to be a little easier for me to die knowing that this dear Father has gone on before me.. As long as I remain here on earth in this life I will miss him and tonight when I say the Rosary I will pray for him. God bless you Father.. You were such a soft and extremely interesting personality and I know many many will miss you too.

  13. I thank God for Fr. Thomas Dubay. His books "Authenticity" and "Fire Within" were both challenging and inspiring. They opened up to me much of the Church's wisdom on spirituality and discernment, in practical ways.
