Huffington Post: Catholic Church 'Inexplicably Evil Organization'

By Matthew Balan

Allison Kilkenny, a self-styled “political humorist,” ripped the Catholic Church on the Huffington Post on Thursday for threatening to pull the plug in its social services in Washington, DC if same-sex “marriage” is legalized there. Kilkenny labeled the Church the “Inexplicably Evil Organization Most Disconnected From Real People,” and bashed Pope Benedict XVI as a “decrepit former Nazi youth.”

The “humorist” (pictured at right, courtesy of Wikimedia) began her screed, titled “Catholic Church Threatens to Stop Feeding Homeless Over Gay Marriage,” by comparing the Church to Goldman Sachs, and used her “evil” label only after three sentences (perhaps showing a bit of restraint on her part): “A few days ago, I wrote about Goldman Sachs’s transition from a bank holding company into a public relations disaster machine. I argued that Goldman’s CEO, Lloyd Blankfein, has been behaving like he wants to be attacked by a ferocious mob. Now, it appears the Catholic church is determined to unseat Blankfein in the ‘Inexplicably Evil Organization Most Disconnected From Real People’ category...”

  1. Oh yeah. Its the Catholic Church that's evil...'cause it was the church that decided to link care for the needy to acceptance of homosexual behaviour. NOT.

The people who make these laws don't 'get' that religion is something you believe in , and because you believe, you don't trade off pieces of your belief to 'get along'. They can't understand true integrity or commitment, because they don't know that truth exists. Sad.

  2. Let us pray for them.

  3. We are called the "Church Militant." That's because, like it or not, we are at war. And it's a very real war. These people attack the Church with the intention of destroying it. That's because, either knowingly or unknowingly, these people are working for the other side. They are not the enemy, but they are agents of the enemy. They are his victims. To follow Christ means we must be willing to sacrifice and pray for their liberation.

  4. Rejoice friends! Our generation has been chosen to be witnesses for the Truth in an increasingly hostile world.
    Remember Matthew 5:11-12
"Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: 12 Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you."

  5. The Mighty Islamic "Church" has just as many people as the Catholic one, however, they have many, many, big counties to go and live in with their own people if they should need to get out of a country - not so with us Catholics. We just have a tiny country of 108 acres (Vatican) = no room, even in a manger. So we Catholics have not choice but to try to make the Counties we are trapped in more honest and sane and clean. It is just a matter of healthy logic.

  6. When 'real people', through sin, separate themselves from the God, then the real believers stick with God. This is not about getting along or changing with the times. Far too long we Catholics have been quiet about the wrongs and quiet about our faith so as not to make waves. Imagine if Jesus had taken that attitude instead of being outspoken.

  7. Chris! Well, color many Catholics "cowards" "moral cowards", No priest will call 'abortion' by it's real name - MURDER. If a Prolife worker calls it what it is, they are blacklisted. Why call it murder? No other reason than it is the most premeditated killing of a completely innocent person. The sad truth is that Catholics and their leaders really, in their hearts, no longer believe that it is murder. They believe it is only 'killing' like what we do to chickens - they, like most in the world, are willfully ignorant. If one one day old baby was taken to Washington DC and killed on an alter, they would complain bitterly - but for the unborn, Well, they are not quite human are they? They are sub human and therefore we can make medicines out of them and shoot it into our selves - makes no difference if you eat a baby with a spoon or a hypodermic needle - you are still eating a baby - and you know what God thinks of that!

  8. A plea for action from all of you I know who are going to shortly become Catholics because of what it says in Matt:16, 13 following.

  9. hi.i wrote a big letter but it got lost. so im going to make this short. The writer of that article states that the catholic church is declining.she doesnt know the bible.the catholic church is the whore in the book of revelations. With the golden cup in her hands. The catholic church will regain its world power again and heaven help us.Just read your history as to what the world was like when the popes ruled the european world. Burning at the stake, torture, stealing property, killing whole groups of peoples, all because they believed the bible instead of the roman church.By the way , the image of the beast is the protestant world. The protestants are the mirror image of catholicism, only without the holymen and the statues and the gold and jewels.in other words, the american IRS will cause the world to worship the beast(the catholic org). you might say; why the IRS? Because he IRS has the best means of inforcing taxes. Plus they are expert in giving everyone a number and tracking you with it.The vatican will need IRS in developing the mark of the beast so no man might buy or sell without it. the botom line? Get saved and we will be taken out of here befor this all starts. To meet the lord in the air.

  10. st. bosco - you are uninformed - obviously you have not read Matt. 16,13 following or you would understand that the Catholic Church is the biggest and oldest and for the first 1500 years it was the ONLY Christian Church in the world. Do you think Jesus Christ went away for 1500 years and left the poor and the mentally retarded and the sick and the prisoners of evil power without a Church? Seems improbable doesn't it? We are the biggest and most unified of all of them, and the only one that has always been steadfastly against abortion murder. Open your eyes and see the light that we are. You are a Protestant and you probably do not even know what that means - it means Protester. And what do you protest against? Your own Bible, Matt. 16, 13 following - start believing your own Bible and you will see why divorce and abortion are hated by God - but now, you are out of luck and you will be this way until you come back to the real faith - remember, faith without reason is insanity!

  11. Dear Hal, when people asked Jesus what must they do to be saved, what did he tell them? To go join some religion? No, he told them to follow Him. God doesnt need some man made religion. he deals with each of us one to one.And why would i chose your religion? One that tells its followers that they cant understand the bible, that only their holy men can interpret it.That discourages catholic folks from crackin gopen the bible. The vatican has a resaon for discouraging reading the bible. They would quickly find out that some organization cant dish out God or take him away like your religion thinks it can. Excommunicate stuff. How funny is that.I should join a church that used to burn and torture people for owning and believeing the bible instead of the pope? God has always had his people on earth. they are few in number like Jesus said. Wide is the road to distruction and many there be on it.Narrow is the path to salvation and few there be on it.This large mega church of yours has a billion people. They all cant fit on this narrow path.

  12. Oh, i almost forgot. Im aware that God hates abortion and divorce.

  13. st bosco, when people asked Jesus what they must do to be saved he said 'follow me'. How can you do that? Where is Jesus? Did he not say he was going away for a while? Yes, He did! So how do you follow him? Just this way: He put St. Peter in Charge of the World while He would be away! And gave Peter the power to make laws on earth and in heaven. How do you know that this is true? Easy, just look in you own King James Bible and read Matt. 16, 13 following. When Peter died he said "because I have been given the power from Christ to make ANY law in heaven and upon earth, I now make you, Linus, the new Pope, the new Peter, The Rock, the foundation of my Church, and whatever law you make on earth will be a law in heaven and then he took off his ring, the ring of the fisherman, and gave it to Linus who became the new Pope and this has been going on in some form or another for almost 2000 years. That very same ring has changed hands 265 times and is now on the hand of Benedict sixteenth this very day. Christ said he would leave us a helper did He not? This is called "apostolic succession". Everything else you said is in error also - for instance, it was the Church which first printed the Bible in English, not the Church of king Henry the eighth (who founded the first official and organized state Protestant church, or his Grandson, King James, who was often called by the people of his time, "Queen James". You can easily google the answers to all these things I am teaching you. One thing you would like to false, is how cruel my Church was - was not the real Church Christ founded that did bad things but some of the many sinners that make up all Christian Churches - the constitution of the Church has never changed for 2000 years - it never stated an evil thing! Free will is a hard thing and very powerful - even God lost his first two children because of it, now, sadly, I am losing you too for a while for you are uninformed and lack the will to educate yourself - until you get on with meaningful seeking to know God intimately, you will know nothing but sorrow. But if you want to understand what God is, really is, go to my site at www.//godmodern.com/ I promise you will not be bored. Love, Hal.

  14. Oh, by the way Chris: I am so glad that you realize that God Almighty hates Divorce and Abortion - you are truly a rare Protestant (Protester against Matt 16, 13 -18. ) Most of you love abortion and divorce and at least half of you love Homosexuality. Come back, my son, to where you once belonged.

  15. Thanks for your replys Hal. I believe you made a few errors. Rather, you have been taught inacuracies. the comforter or helper is the holy ghost. And when Jesus asked Peter who he was, Peter said the messiah, the son of God. Jesus said that upon this rock he builds his church. The rock is jesus being the son of God.Building his church on a man is futile. Why cant i follow jesus, ? You believe hes gone to heaven and is sleeping? He is here and everywhere.Where 2 or more are gathered in my name, i am in the midst of you- Jesus.Anyway, Peter forbid people to elevate him to some special holyman.Peter always said he was a fellow servant.Take a close look at whom you call the successor of Peter. A guady, high living prelate, complete with royal regailia and royal gowns and a big fish hat from Dagon worship, dines with heads of state, is called holy father, has his hands and ring kissed.Peter would roll over in his grave if he knew people were calling the pope his successor. Lets not forget the bowing it statues and burning incsene to them. Ive heard all the great reason why those statues(idols made by hands)are the best thing in town and how wonderfull it is to bow down in front of them. Can you see Peter, or jesus for that matter bowing to an idol? Hal , you seen like a smart guy, dont you see anything fishy with the idols? Forget what the magisterium says for a moment.Crack open the bible. What does it say about idols and those who bow down to them. The jews were banished from their land by god for erecting idols all over Israel. Im sorry Hal, but the catholic church is not for me. I dont want anybodies religion.I wish i had a nickel for every hoakie religion that called itself Gods true religion. id be RICH

  16. The Holy Ghost is the Connection between The Father and The Son - and here on earth He works the same way, connecting us together, protecting the Church, that is why he Killed Annanius and his wife (read Acts). He works to keep the body of Christ together and in communication with one another - accurate communication! Annanius was a liar. He didn't mean to lie a very big lie, he just wanted to hold back a little of his own money for himself. Paul said that that would have been alright, but the fact that he lied about it caused the Holy Ghost to kill him and his wife. The Helper works by organizing the Church and the world for the benefit of the children of God. But you say, "I don't believe in organized religion". I know that you really do not, in your heart of hearts, believe in disorganized religion. But, look how disorganized you are - in your churches and in your thoughts - you are headless, you have no effective leaders - your weak and tiny efforts to stop the abortion murders are pitiful. How is the Holy Ghost working for you?
For us, he works everywhere, from the head to the foot. The head is Peter and the foot is me, a Crusader. I see you disagree with Matt. 16, 13 following. Well, for one thousand and 500 years every Christian in the world believed what it clearly says! Why do you not tell us why you do not believe what it clearly spells out?
But look at you and the things you say about us! We are the Church you were for 1500 years and you hate us more than the Muslims, more than Pagans - call us names that you must know in your heart can not possibly be true. You have pictures of Jesus - why in the world do you think there is any bit of difference between a picture and a statue? Faith without reason is insanity and St. James says, in your Bible, that Faith without works is dead - Count the number or missions you have in the world and then count the Catholic missions - how can you fault us?

  18. st. bosco, Let me continue for a while : look at Mother Theressa, her whole organization is a

thousand times more effective towards really helping people than your whole church. Yes, Jesus is

everywhere, but he is accepted into the hearts of those who have been shown a glimpse of Him - through

charity, feeding the poor, visiting the sick and the prisoners. Jesus came to save us from all law, the law

of the old testament too - but you, like the Jews of Old wish to re-crucify Christ by making me obey the

law that our Lord died to save us from! What is it to you if a man wants a picture of Christ to inspire and

remind him while he prays for his sick baby? You have an old testament problem with that? Why do you

call our pictures Idols? Do you think all pictures are evil like they used to be in the old testament? You

call me a fool who has a 'hoakie religion - but my religion is the biggest most well organized and is 2000

years old and has not changed in any basic way for all that time - no other religion can say that - how old is

your religion? How well organized enough to really educate and feed vast number of people? Let me

guess, your religion is less than 50 years old - mine goes back to St. Peter where in the bible he was given

the authority by Jesus to be the head of one True Church of Jesus Christ - the Pope has no wife - and he

only dresses up for the benefit of Christ whose Chair and robes of office he wears temporarily until the

return of Jesus Christ as Jesus Himself Promised to return in the flesh, so that all would see him again.

Who rolls over in their graves when I call the Pope Jesus' temporary successor? Not most Christians

because Most Christians are Catholics. You put us down and insult and hate us even though we are your

bothers and sisters. You say evil and untrue thing about us that hurts our hearts and distroys the unity

and the seamless garment that Christ prayed we should have (the robe of the Pope) - that seemless

garment is on the Man Jesus picked to keep His organization alive and well until He returns IN The Flesh,

drinking wine! But how well named you are for you are surely a railing doubting protester! Protestant: A

name which etymologically means "grumbler" I'm sorry you hate us so much and think so little of us to

make such false charges against the true Church of Jesus, but, I promise you, we only kiss the ring of the

Pope to show the world that we love the will and desire of Jesus Christ who made Peter the absolute

foundation of the world that is in waiting for the first born Son of God. Your "theology is very crooked

or non-existent. We are begging you to be kinder and more civilized in you communications with us. love,

from St. Dominic, St. Francis, St. Joan of Arc, the Holy Ghost, and me oxoxoxoxoxoxo

  19. Hi Hal. I dont hate you or any of the catholic man in the pews. You didnt invent the catholic church. Its thereligion that i expose for what they have done in the past aand are doing now. Let me say this again. I dont belong to ANY religion, so you have to besmirch me from a different angle. You are so sure that God made peter a pope and the catholic church is what Jesus had in mind.God built his church on jesus, not that bumbling treaturous Peter. One thing you havent done is say that the info i gave about the catholic church is false.During the inquisition, after killig the head of the household, the father and or the mother, the pope would confiscate their property. This made the vatican and the popes wealkthy beyond description. In spain also, the inquisitor of the area would kill the man of the house and take the property and toss the rest of the family into the street.Rite Hal, great religion. Its not a religion, its a band of merderous thieves. To this day the vatica owns tons of land the stole by declaring someone a heretic and taking the land. Please tell me im wrong. This is documented history. Ill bet even the pope wont deny it.Its not you sitting in the pews Hal, who are sincere in their belief of god and a willingness to do good. You must have been born catholic. Not too many people go join willingly. Im here because of that article by that lady. I get catholic news in my email. How much do you know about your religion? Besides the outrageous behaviour of popes past and present,. Hey Hal, have you ever heard of the Black Pope?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Dear st bosco (he is one of my favorite Saints you know) No, I have not heard of the Black Pope, but I have heard of Pope Joan, and all sorts of stories about said Popes - how they had harems of little boys and other nonsenses. And, no, I'm a convert. I studied these rumours and when I was 36 years old I converted to the Catholic Church. I'm quite well read and educated. I believe in the theory of evolution and the big-bang because it is alright to believe in such for us, as a matter of fact, the discoverer of the Big Bang theory was a Catholic Priest. You will find that we Catholics are quite logical and believe strongly in the power of reasoning - and, in spite of our missionary efforts to bring any native person into our religion, you will find that most of us are very well educated. We also are pretty well of financially even though we have mostly all the missions to support in the world - yes, we get a lot of money but we spend it all on helping the poor. This fact should not be lost on you - you can see what we do in every city - I know what kind of Protestant you are, you are the new show-up of the old kind that is fond of saying, "I hate organized Religion", meaning: I love disorganized or unorganized religion. I suppose you still believe in Iron Maidens and other fantasys that modern scholarship has long ago proven untrue. You say you don't hate us? If what you write is true, I would ask, "why in the world do you not hate us?" Catholics are not ignorant, we know a lot about history - yet you write, "Its not a religion, its a band of merderous thieves. Im here because of that article by that lady." I am telling you that you are wrong, and, that lots of people are joining the Catholic Church, and especially about that "bumbling treacherous Peter". Study up, please, Jesus knew his words would be heard by reasonable people who could deal with symbolism, you will be caught up in the spirit, not the 'air'. We already are caught up in the spirit. God put us here to build him a Church made up of living stones, i.e., "people" - we are those people, join us and be happy again - only a madman chooses depression - people are not as evil and bad as you say they are, the Catholic Church teaches that there is no such thing as evil, evil is just a misuse of Good. Be happy and forgiving like Jesus is - please.

  21. Hi Hal, its easy to see the bible the way catholics do, or have been taught. Tell me something please, does catholic teaching say we will be raptured or not? It looks like you personally dont think so.Are you ready to go thru the tribulation? Im not.

  24. Yes st bosco, I am ready to go through the tribulation. And, I have been prepared for this ordeal by the Bible, specifically, The Book of Revelations, Chapter 12, verses 5 - 6. It stands to reason that 'the woman' clothed in the sun (she is not really clothed in the sun - let your mind be more flexible - she is clothed in worldly authority for the sake of the re-born [us]) is a very holy woman and probably she stands in scripture for a lot of very holy women. Her son is taken up to God so the devil will not have a chance to corrupt him and his friends. He is murdered like St, Peter for our sakes so that we will not have to suffer the same fate. He is taken up to heaven, but she is not, and she is a very holy person - instead she stays here on earth for the whole 3 and one half year period, but a place(s) of safety has been pre - prepared for her and her kind in the wilderness (in greek and latin it means 'countryside' That is where you and I will be. Scripture says life for us will be hard, but not at all impossible - we shall be kept safe until the end and then, as the Bible promises, we shall take over the Kingdom of the Beast (where animal passions rule, especially 'Greed' [Capitalism]) and, as it promises in this wonderful book, the whole kingom will be ruled over by us forever. You and I will be there, happy and healthy, having lost a lot of weight during the 3 and 1/2 physical fitness period mandated by our real Father. I too find Hal Lensey interesting - he comes so close to really understanding the Bible - but scripture states through that " We should hold onto the word of God, whether we have heard it through tradition, or have read it." In those days very very few people could read and so it was for centuries - but notice he said, 'tradition' first and reading second. We Catholics have the Tradition and have faithfully passed it down to the present - it makes scripture much easier to understand. Our Mass is the oldest of all traditions and many keys to understanding the Bible are there - go to Mass and see and you will see. Also, read all of Chapter 10 and 11 and 12. God does not want to cause horrible suffering to humanity - only the Devil wants that! Do you think that God punished "Adam and Eve, and the rest of us so very horribly because they disobeyed Him? No! He was not angry with them for he had just stated a simple fact, "If you partake of the Tree of Law, you will surely Die!" But they didn't take God at his word - The rest was just necessity, not a horrible fate hurled against humanity by a furious God. He is the most gentle and kind person you could ever comprehend - he is much more human than Hal lensey . Please try to see God as he is - not as someone who would leave a plane full of people of all ages sceaming down to a firery death because a revengeful god snatched the pilots away because they were a member of Hal's protesting internet 'church'. Be happy. Believe God when he says 'learn of me for I am easy and gentle". He also says - "Don't Judge!" Please do yourself a favor and become like a child again instead of a hard-hearted old judge like Hal L.

  26. Hal,You and Lindsey had something in common. Your name. Haha. Once again i have to mention that i didnt get these ideas for Hal or his bunch. I never read one of his books and rarely watch his show. But if he thinks like i do, its cause we both go to the same source, the holy ghost. The woman is the house of Israel. She flees into the wilderness(Petra )in Moab. After the rapture the tribulation starts. The man of sin is revealed but he bills himself as the messiah. He brings in 3 yrs of peace. He rebuilds the temple.Remember Jesus word when he saysthat when you see the abomination of desolation, flee without going back into the house, drop your tools and flee without grabbing your coat. This is for the people in jerusalem or Israel in general. The flee to Petra where the are miraculously fed by God as in the time of the exodus. The abomination is when the antichrist sits down in the temple and declairs himself God. The woman(Israel)will be spared the wrath as did Goshen did during the passover. But the rest of the world will be burnt with fire, raned on by giant hailstones, stung by these things out of the pit, etc etc. I dont know how much of this you will believe. But its all there n black and white. By the way, the Black Pope is the jesuit general. He has more power than the white pope.Hes called black pope cause he wears a black pope uniform. His gang, the jesuits are in charge of the mechanics dept of the vatican. They fix things,Like people who are ready to expose whats really going on in the vatican, they have a habit of turning up missing or dead. The do the arms for drugs for cash circuit in the middle east.

  27. I'm sure me n Hal have a lot in common, but you n him are missing a lot of information - tradition is necessary - many people lived for those 1500 years and they were many great men and all of them understood Matt: 16, 13 following perfectly. Why can you and Hal not see this plain truth? Can it be that God has blinded you for a shout while for you edification later on after you are more matured? Let us hope this will happen on this side of purgatory. You have said everything that Hal says - just exactly - and has said for many a year - he is over 70 you know. Here is what you/hal wrote, ".The woman is the house of Israel. She flees into the wilderness(Petra )in Moab. After the rapture the tribulation starts. The man of sin is revealed but he bills himself as the messiah. He brings in 3 yrs of peace." And then a lot of other stuff that is also in error. But I need only respond to the one above - the woman, this holy woman {as I told you if you will remember} is not Israel [a mans name] because of what is said in that same chapter verse 17, about this same woman - it says, "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which seed keep the COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND HAVE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST." St. bosco, if we who have the testimony of Christ have been jerked off to heaven violently, leaving all the rest to suffer frightening deaths, why are we who are the only ones who have the testimony of Jesus Christ still down here on earth warring with the Devil? After all, we do keep the commandments of Jesus Christ do we not? Ever heard of any Religious Jews that do that? I once again implore you to give up your depressing, uncharitable and black hearted interpretation of scripture and be happy and relaxed - please, cheer up, nothing from God can be so gruesomely horrible as you say it is - God is love through and through. If you want to be happy again, and I know that you are not, read my book. After all, who could be happy thinking that God was going to murder so many people in such an insensitive manner?[the quot above is from the book of Revelations, Chapter 12 verse 17.

  29. Hey hal, at least youre not calling the woman mary like markShea does. Why cant the woman be the house of Israel? When all is said and done, Jesus marries his bride. The house of Israel and the saved(the elect) are the bride, a female. I know youve seen that. Just follow the bouncing ball from the woman to the bride.I told a friend of mine to read revelattions. He read at least 2/3rds of it. He was upset because his 2 kids most likely will go thru that.Hes dealing with it by not dealing with it.Why did john write all that stuff if God is too nice to do all that? You call me mean and hateful and a few other thing, oh yes, blind. Thats fine. The flip side of that coin is thatyou dont believe whats in the bible. Which is worster? By the way< Mark Shea sent me his 3 books about Mary. ive read 2 of them. Boy can that guy twist up some scriptures.Hats off to him

  31. Dearest Saint Bosco, you fail to address my proofs - they, evidently, do not impress you - let me let the bible tell you the truth, for, as Jesus himself said, the Holy scriptures cannot be wrong. Therefore here is more proof that The Woman mentioned in Revelations Chapter 12, cannot be anything but one of us Christians for it is no longer by flesh and blood that we are generated, but by the word of God (Baptism) we are born spiritually, that is why the jews are not this wonderful woman. But, here is proof from the mouth of St. Paul telling you who you are and exactly who the Jews are not: "Galatians Chapter 4

Christ has freed us from the servitude of the law. We are the freeborn sons of Abraham.

4:1. As long as the heir is a child, he differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all,

4:2. But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed by the father.

4:3. So we also, when we were children, were serving under the elements of the world.

    Under the elements, etc... That is, under the first rudiments of religion, the law of Mosis, in which the carnal Jews were trained up;
4:4. But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent his Son, made of a woman, made under the law:

4:5. That he might redeem them who were under the law: that we might receive the adoption of sons.

4:6. And because you are sons, God hath sent the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying: Abba, Father.

4:7. Therefore, now he is not a servant, but a son. And if a son, an heir also through God.

4:8. But then indeed, not knowing God, you served them who, by nature, are not gods.

4:9. But now, after that you have known God, or rather are known by God: how turn you again to the weak and needy elements which you desire
    to serve again?

4:10. You observe days and months and times, and years.

You observe days, etc... the Jewish festivals, to the observance of which, certain Jewish teachers sought to induce the
    Galatians.

4:11. I am afraid of you, lest perhaps I have laboured in vain among you.

4:12. Be ye as I, because I also am as you brethren, I beseech you. You have not injured me at all.

4:13. And you know how, through infirmity of the flesh, I preached the gospel to you heretofore: and your temptation in my flesh

  32. :14. You despised not, nor rejected: but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.

4:15. Where is then your blessedness? For I bear you witness that, if it could be done, you would have plucked out your own eyes and would
    have given them to me.

4:16. Am I then become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

4:17. They are zealous in your regard not well: but they would exclude you, that you might be zealous for them.

4:18. But be zealous for that which is good in a good thing always: and not only when I am present with you.

4:19. My little children, of whom I am in labour again, until Christ be formed in you.

4:20. And I would willingly be present with you now and change my voice: because I am ashamed for you.

4:21. Tell me, you that desire to be under the law, have you not read the law?

4:22. For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman and the other by a free woman.

4:23. But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh: but he of the free woman was by promise.

4:24. Which things are said by an allegory. For these are the two testaments. The one from Mount Sina, engendering unto bondage, which is Hagar.

4:25. For Sina is a mountain in Arabia, which hath sameness to that Jerusalem [Israel] which now is: and is in bondage with her children.

4:26. But that Jerusalem which is above is free: which is our mother.

4:27. For it is written: Rejoice, thou barren, that bearest not: break forth and cry thou that travailest not: for many are the children of the desolate, more than of her that hath a husband.

4:28. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Continue on Saint Bosco 4:29. But as then he that was born according to the flesh persecuted him that was after the spirit: so also it is now.

4:30. But what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman. " So you see, she is not a Jew. Only Christ makes us free - none else!

  36. Dear Saint Bosco, I know that you are intelligent, so I can only guess that you are being willfully ignorant of the easily discerned fact that I have answered all of your question. That I have done this is perceived by all our readers. I have shown you all those quotes from your favorite Bible to support my case against your statement that the woman clothed in the sun was modern Israel. I didn't have to go far to disprove st bosco/linsey, because just a few verses down it explains that the woman who is pregnant has seed who faithfully follow Jesus Christ who is God and Human. Just a few verses down from where you and Linsey that you saw Israel Jews in the Pregnant woman. May I direct you attention to the passage that disproves your strange and improbable interpratation - Rev. ch 12 verse 7. And all the rest of the bible quotes back up that fact by pointing out to you clearly that the unbaptized are in bondage, and as such are in darkness and slavery, whilst we, who are actual sons and daughter of God Almighty, are the only ones to inherit anything. We are little Christs on earth. But, maybe this quote will refresh your heart to come home to the only real Church of God Almighty, our real Father: "I'm sure me n Hal have a lot in common, but you n him are missing a lot of information - tradition is necessary - many people lived for those 1500 years and they were many great men and all of them understood Matt: 16, 13 following perfectly. (it is not lost on any of us that you have not been able to answer even one of the contradictions I have pointed out to you - why will you not engage with me?)

  39. Everyone! I have a theory as to why that woman and stbosco hates the Catholic Church so much - it is because so many of us believe that the man who shot the Professional Abortion Murderer said that he did it to save the 48 babies that he was going to murder for money the very nest morning. Do you believe then, that this was justifalble homocide done in defence of innocent children? Or do you believe the they are not really children or persons at all because the law states that they are not really persons and therefor it is impossible to murder them and wrong to call them babies. Here is what is written on the news media about it - after you read it, please comment - let us know if you agree that the shooter was using justified homocide, or just plain murder for the sake of murder. "In an interview with the Associated Press on Monday, Scott Roeder, the man charged in the shooting death of Kansas abortion provider George Tille, said the murder was justified because "preborn children's lives were in imminent danger," the AP/USA Today reports.
Roeder has pleaded not guilty to one charge of first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault in the fatal shooting of Tiller in the foyer of his Wichita church on May 31 (Hegeman, AP/USA Today, 11/10). His trial is set for Jan. 11 (McClatchy/Los Angeles Times, 11/10).

When asked if he killed Tiller, Roeder said, "That is correct," but added that he did not consider the act murder and has no intention of changing his plea to guilty. Roeder said he plans to use a so-called "necessity defense" in his upcoming trial, claiming that he killed Tiller to prevent future abortions, the AP/USA Today reports (AP/USA Today, 11/10).

However, Roeder's attorney, Steve Osburn, said there is no such thing as a necessity defense in Kansas law. Osburn said, "That does not seem to be the approach that is viable, nor is it the approach we intend to use" (Hegeman, AP/Google News, 11/11).

Lee Thompson, an attorney for Tiller's family, said allowing Roeder to use a necessity defense would "invite chaos and be tantamount to anarchy." Courts have previously prevented individuals accused of murdering abortion providers from using the defense (AP/USA Today, 11/10). "Any pretense that it's justifiable is legally wrong and reflective of the extremism that seems to characterize this act which is nothing more than an act of premeditated violence," Thompson said (McClatchy/Los Angeles Times, 11/10). "

  40. Hal here - well, I made lots of typo's up there, sorry - be more careful next time. However, there are no comments on what you all must consider a very important matter. Let me put it another way: Is Abortion Murder or is it Not? That is the question in a nut shell. Want to get cold shouldered right off the bat? Just call abortion, "murder" instead of "killing" and that is what will happen to you. So, we have got to go over this important matter once and for all if we are going to be able to save the Babies, are we not? If abortion is a victimless crime then no one is going to get excited enough to actual risk life and money to stop it are they? Many, many rapists do not believe they actually raped, they will tell you that the victim wanted to be raped - but we put them in jail anyway. Now there are people who say "If the woman didn't know that it was a baby it is not murder". If the Doctor didn't know it was a human baby then it is not murder - but wait! You can't run a civilization that way! So, rape is rape. No doubt about it we say, But, it is much clearer that the victim of abortion is not cooperating in the murder of his or her self, and that the victim is totally innocent. And it is beyond dispute that a woman has never ever been pregnant with anything but a baby! Oh, some will say that it was only a 'fetus' but that word literally means 'baby' it is just in another language. So, why not take a chance and voice an opinion here - is abortion the cold blooded murder of an innocent helpless human being or is it not? We wait to hear from some one~~~ Pleeeease! "Scott Roeder, the man charged in the shooting death of Kansas abortion provider George Tille, said the murder was justified because "preborn children's lives were in imminent danger. Is he correct, or is he evil or deranged? Come on - comment! No Islamist is going to come after you for saying what is in your heart to say about there innocent babies. Say now while we still have the freedom to speak as we wish - that freedom is going fast!

  41. That woman, who called us evil - she thinks we are - no doubt because we are for keeping parents from murdering their yet to be pushed out of the womb babies. But they are murderers - consider: Hitler really really believed in his heart of hearts that the Jews and Negroes were not human and so he killed them - he would tell you he killed them - you know, like what you do to a chicken. But he would not say he murdered them. But you would wouldn't you! So it is exactly with abortion - we expect a human to recognize another human and that it that! Otherwise ever murderer would say, "Yes, I killed it, but it is not murder because even though it looks like a human, it is not, and, if it is, I didn't know it! Yeah, sure, we believe you Hitler! Give the Babies the Dignity they deserve - you 'kill' a chicken, that is not what you do to an innocent baby! Give them their dignity back! Stop being cowards and call it MURDER< not mere 'killing' Please!

All we can do is pray for him - but that will be enough if you decide to do it. What I'm worried about is why there are so few commentaries on this site, and so few trying to present the truth to this poor man. 43. pretty clear that no one is our there reading any of this - bodez bad for the survival of the world doesn't it? Here is something really important to read whilst we do nothing as the world sinks into the inky, vacuumness, of senseless, mindless darkness -- boeds coming evil for the world -- Pat Robertson said: "If we don't stop covering up what Islam is. Islam is a violent...I was going to say religion but it's not a religion...it's political system; it's a violent political system bent on the overthrow of the governments of the world and world domination."

I disagree. I don't think Islam is not a religion. A religion purports to relate human beings to a deity, and Islam does purport to do that. But is Islam a political system that teaches world domination?

Don't take Pat Robertson's word for it, or mine. Let's go to Majid Khadduri, an Iraqi scholar of Islamic law of international renown. In his book War and Peace in the Law of Islam, which was published in 1955 and remains one of the most lucid and illuminating works on the subject, Khadduri says this about jihad:

The state which is regarded as the instrument for universalizing a certain religion must perforce be an ever expanding state. The Islamic state, whose principal function was to put God's law into practice, sought to establish Islam as the dominant reigning ideology over the entire world....The jihad was therefore employed as an instrument for both the universalization of religion and the establishment of an imperial world state. (P. 51)
Don't believe Khadduri? Very well. How about Imran Ahsan Khan Nyazee, Assistant Professor on the Faculty of Shari'ah and Law of the International Islamic University in Islamabad. In his 1994 book The Methodology of Ijtihad, he quotes the twelfth century Maliki jurist Abu al-Walid Muhammad ibn Ahmad Ibn Rushd: "Muslim jurists agreed that the purpose of fighting with the People of the Book...is one of two things: it is either their conversion to Islam or the payment of jizyah." Nyazee concludes: "This leaves no doubt that the primary goal of the Muslim community, in the eyes of its jurists, is to spread the word of Allah through jihad, and the option of poll-tax [jizya] is to be exercised only after subjugation" of non-Muslims.

Don't believe Nyazee, either? How about Iran's Thug-In-Chief Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Of course, he is no Islamic scholar, but he is a devout Muslim, and he learned Islam not from greasy Islamophobes but from...Islamic scholars. And he has said: "Have no doubt... Allah willing, Islam will conquer what? It will conquer all the mountain tops of the world."

Don't believe Ahmadinejad? How about a Shafi'i manual of Islamic law endorsed by the most prestigious institution in Sunni Islam, Al-Azhar University in Cairo? It says that the leader of the Muslims "makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians...until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax," and cites Koran 9:29 in support of this idea: "Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled." ('Umdat al-Salik o9.8)

Evidently all these people are misunderstanders of Islam. Will CAIR denounce them? How about it, Honest Ibe? Or do you believe, Mr. Hooper, that it is just fine for Muslims to say this sort of thing anytime and anywhere, and it only becomes "hate speech" when Robertson says it? CAIR Deception and Hypocrisy Alert: "CAIR asks McDonnell for more on Robertson, as Connolly weighs in," by Rosalind Helderman in theWashington Post, November 18 (thanks to herr Oyal): (continued of very nest post)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Gov.-elect Bob McDonnell continues to face calls for him to publicly repudiate donor and ally Pat Robertson today, even after a statement issued Tuesday evening in which his spokesman commented generally about the importance of the Muslim community to Virginia.
A spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations said Wednesday that McDonnell's comment "a good statement as far as it went," but said he did not believe it went far enough in directly disavowing Robertson's remarks.

Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for CAIR, said the national group is working with Muslims in Virginia to decide how to proceed on the issue. But he said he continues to believe McDonnell needs to make a clear statement indicating he does not agree with Robertson's stand on Islam. Robertson said last week that Islam is "not a religion" but a "violent political system" and called for Muslims to be treated like communists or members of a fascist party.

"[McDonnell's] sending the message that he wants it both ways--he wants the support of a Muslim-basher. And he wants to work with Virginia Muslims. I think those two things are incompatible," Hooper said.

Meanwhile, the political implications of the Robertson remarks are growing. U.S. Rep Gerry Connolly (D) has put out a statement Wednesday calling on Robertson to apologize for his comments. Connolly said he has heard from hundreds of constituents, both Muslims and others, offended by Robertson's comments, which came in response to the Fort Hood shootings on an episode of the 700 Club last week.

"My feeling is that if public officials don't speak out about this, our silence might be misconstrued," Connolly said. "I, for one, am not going to be silent in the face of that kind of unbridled intolerance."...

    What courage!

  46. She thinks we are evil huh! Well I have news for her. we are not longer afraid of their vacuous opinions! Read This:

What? The Catholic Church no longer trembling in fear like a child, and wetting it's pants? But finally acting like Jesus Christ?
The statement, called “the Manhattan Declaration,” has been signed by more than 125 Catholic, Evangelical Christian, and Orthodox leaders, and will be made fully public at a noon press conference in the National Press Club in Washington DC on Friday.

“We are Christians who have joined together across historic lines of ecclesial differences to affirm our right—and, more importantly, to embrace our obligation—to speak and act in defense of these truths. We pledge to each other, and to our fellow believers, that no power on earth, be it cultural or political, will intimidate us into silence or acquiescence,” the statement says.

“We recognize the duty to comply with laws whether we happen to like them or not, unless the laws are gravely unjust or require those subject to them to do something unjust or otherwise immoral,” the signatories explain.

But they also made clear that “we will not comply with any edict that purports to compel our institutions to participate in abortions, embryo-destructive research, assisted suicide and euthanasia, or any other anti-life act; nor will we bend to any rule purporting to force us to bless immoral sexual partnerships, treat them as marriage or the equivalent, or refrain from proclaiming the truth, as we know it, about morality and immorality and marriage and the family.”

The Manhattan Declaration is the result of several months of dialogue among Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christian leaders culminating in a gathering of approximately 100 leaders in New York City on September 28, 2009.

Attendees considered an early draft of the “Manhattan Declaration, A Call of Christian Conscience,” but the document was entrusted to a drafting committee that included Dr. Timothy George of Beeson Divinity School at Samford University, Dr. Robert P. George of Princeton University, and renowned Evangelical leader Charles Colson.

The signatories explained that they speak now because in order "to defend principles of justice and the common good that are now under assault."

    "W

  47. continued from above: - e will fully and ungrudgingly render to Caesar what is Caesar’s, but we will under no circumstances render to Caesar what is God’s."

The signatories of the Manhattan Declaration explain that although public sentiment has moved in a pro-life direction, "pro-abortion ideology prevails in many places of power and influence."

"Our government promotes and funds scientific research in which the lives of tiny human beings in the early embryonic states of development are treated as disposable research material."

They also contend that "public policies contribute to the weakening of the institution of marriage, including the discredited idea of unilateral divorce," while "influential individuals and organizations are seeking to redefine marriage to embrace same-sex partnerships and to recognize multiple-party sexual unions that are beyond same-sex marriage.”

Signatories of the declaration include Cardinal Justin Rigali, Archbishop of Philadelphia; Cardinal Adam Maida, Archbishop Emeritus of Detroit; Charles J. Chaput, Archbishop of Denver; Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York; Donald W. Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, D.C.; John J. 48. Most Catholics are total moral cowards. You can figure this out for yourselves, just go up to any priest or bishop, or lay Catholic for that matter, and ask this simple question, "Is Abortion Murder or is it not?" And you will see them squirm and fidget and hem and haw and give you exactly the wrong answer, "Why, no it is not murder - it is only killing - like what we do to pigs." But you and I know that they really do know that abortion is the most murder kind of murder that there ever was or ever could be. The Church, their own Church, teaches them this, and they still will not admit it. If they did, they would be seen as non-conformists. They want you to believe that it is only a victimless crime - like masturbation. It is hard to get excited about stopping abortion when it is said to be a victimless crime, or if not victimless, they say, certainly NOT murder! Not like what the Germans did to the Jews, Oh no! But look how many are dead, more than Hitler ever dreamed could be murdered - and the USA did it! And there is no more Petulant kind of murder imaginable! And no more innocent victim ever existed, nor so many. Even slaves in the USA had more rights than these persons who are used to make medicines for rich people - doesn't matter if you eat a baby with a spoon or a hypodermic needle - you know what God thinks of murdering baby, let alone eating them! Please God, if you are going to end this murdering world any time soon - LET IT BE NOW!

  49. So, you silent polite Catholics didn't like by above post huh? Well, let me put it another way: "You can never win the war for the innocent baby's lives because you are not able to tell anything close to the truth: Consider this - abortion is a very good and life saving procedure - just like cutting off someones leg can be a very wonderful thing to do - but when you use the word "abortion" instead of accurately telling your readers what is really happening to the yet to be born baby, you minimize and greatly diminish the only truth that could save babies from being murdered. Murder is much, much different than abortion - yet you always only call this cold blooded premeditated murder of innocent babies, "abortion". Abortion does not mean murder at all but could mean a good life saving medical procedure approved of by the Catholic Church. Oh when will you finally stop wasting everyones time and money and call abortion/murder by it's proper and true name! Because of you, very few Catholics believe that Abortion/Murders are really Murder! Call it by it's proper name or go on for another 35 years of, in effect, supporting the murderers main propaganda effort of convincing people that abortion/murder is not murder but merely an "abortion procedure" thereby confusing the good with the bad. But no, you won't call it what it is and therefore you not only waste everyones time but you strengthen the baby murderer position more than they themselves can do. If it is not murder, but a lesser sin, then why bother? It is not like mass murder but a sin comparable to, say, masturbation. You have slaughtered the angels of truth, and now you dance around the hole you buried them in, skillfully hiding the fact that you too secretly think that there really is a population explosion. Well, maybe i'm wrong about that, but something like that must certainly be in your minds - otherwise why would you not call abortion murder what it is, but only use the sanitized version? Why, Why, Why???? You are all too skillful to tell us that. Here come your number one clever tactic to hide the truth - silence!
