Terry wanted me to pretend to be his wife. To elicit sympathy for Ter, I grabbed some poor kid from the hallway to pretend it was "ours". Terry wanted the cops to feel sorry for him and let him out because he was, supposedly, a family man.
It didn't work and I barely avoided being incarcerated myself.
Let this be a lesson to all: when Terry calls looking for bail, pretend you are not home.
