I wonder if a theologian could argue baptism of desire for those who have already died ignorant of this?<BR/><BR/>Just think however, if as an adult, you had to be re-baptized, all of your sins would be forgiven! And if you were unhappy in marriage, you could call it quits. Then, what if a priest was ordained without knowing his baptism was invalid - his sacraments would be invalid - no Eucharist, no forgiveness of sins, no marriages, no last sacraments!!! - OH! MY!
